Again PSNOR you don't seem to be grasping the the premise of this thread. It wasn't about whether Bush jnr is a stand up guy, (incidently Bush couldn't be a stand up guy even if he had a 6 foot splint rammed down the back of his shirt collar) it was about the withdrawl of human rights and forcing the clock back years on hard fought liberty.

I still query why, firstly you questioned why non American people were posting about American politics and secondly why you question why I am talking about abortion when I don't have first hand knowledge. Human rights concern everyone, nationality is inconsequential.

You said you've had first hand knowledge of abortion. At least you had the right to it however traumatic it was for you. Imagine if a few years down the line you were in the same position and you were sitting in some grubby backstreet butchers surgery, tell me honestly if you think that is a viable option??

Abortion is a very sensitive and emotive issue but banning legal abortions, withdrawing funding and prosecuting people does not make the issue go away. A blinkered, lock-down attitude will cause untold chaos and suffering and set freedom of choice and civil liberites back years.

I get it. And I like it. I don't want my tax dollars going to support what I believe is murder. It doesn't take away the right to free expression, just the right to have it paid for. Nobody is banning any practices, just tax payer funds for them.
